82 different phone numbers from 408-709-4000 to 408-709-4999 have been reported to the FTC, with 312 complaints in total. No single number in the block has more than 10 complaints, so looking up one number on its own understates how often this block appears in reports. 48% of the complaints describe "Calls pretending to be government, businesses, or family and friends". Reports came from 6 states, most often California, Colorado and Washington. The earliest complaint on record is from August 30, 2023 and the most recent from April 8, 2025.
Complaints are filed by consumers with the FTC and are not verified. Callers often spoof numbers, so a number listed here may have been faked by a caller rather than used by the person or business it is assigned to. Many complaints spread across consecutive numbers can point to one calling operation rotating through a block, but this page does not identify who placed the calls. How we source this data.
